  • Endel Ots and Lucky Strike Aim for Summer Solstice

    In the Northern Hemisphere, the Summer Solstice in June occurs when the Sun reaches both its highest and northernmost points in the sky, so Endel Ots is also aiming for the points this coming weekend at the Gold Coast Dressage Association's Summer Solstice Dressage Show. "Lucky has been training so well. Despite the Florida heat, she comes out everyday full of himself and super enthusiastic" Ots shares, "But it is always good to don the shadbelly and retest ourselves by heading down centerline, and Gold Coast (Dressage Association) always puts on great shows right here in Wellington.

  • Riders competing at the 2019 Land Rover Kentucky Three-Day Event presented by MARS EQUESTRIAN Visit Kentucky Children's Hospital

    Lexington, KY - April 24, 2019 - Top international eventing riders Tim Price from New Zealand, Hawley Bennett-Awad from Canada and Hannah Sue Burnett of the United States made a special visit to the Kemtucky Children's Hospital on Tuesday, April 23, to spend time with kids undergoing treatment there. The riders are in town to compete at the 2019 Land Rover Kentucky Three-Day Event, presented by MARS EQUESTRIAN taking place April 25-28.

  • Triple Crown® Excellence Award Goes to Endel Ots During AGDF 8 Palm Beach Dressage Derby

    Wellington, Florida (March 12, 2019) – Endel Ots and his beloved mount, Lucky Strike, have been wowing crowds and impressing judges for several years across the country. Some could say they’ve been on a “Lucky Streak,” but most know that the harder they work, the luckier they get. The pair’s performance during week 8 of the 2019 Adequan Global Dressage Festival at the Palm Beach Dressage Derby was no exception. Ots and Lucky took first place in the FEI 1* Prix St. Georges with a score of 72.598, which also earned them the Triple Crown Excellence Award.

  • Rebecca Hart Awarded Custom Saddlery’s Most Valuable Rider at AGDF Week Two

    The Adequan Global Dressage Festival at the Equestrian Village in Wellington, Florida is hosting seven weeks of CDI competition and two CPEDIs competitions over the course of three months in 2019. During these weeks, the AGDF will see riders from all over to prepare for the 2019 Pan American Games and the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

  • Endel Ots and Lucky Strike Dominate the 2018 Wellington Classic Dressage Global Holiday Challenge to Clinch the Semican Achievement Award

    Wellington, FL –  Endel Ots and Lucky Strike have, once again, dominated the dressage arena by earning high score wins on both days of the 2018 Wellington Classic Dressage Global Holiday Challenge. The pair rode their way to a high score win of 78.971% in the highly competitive Prix St Georges on Saturday, only to top it off on Sunday with a whopping high score win of 80% in the Intermediate I. “I’ve been working on getting my canter work stronger and stronger,” Ots reflects, “and I was pretty happy with the big clean changes and pirouettes.”

  • Endel Ots Takes Agastrophos II to New Levels at the 2018 Wellington Classic Dressage Autumn Classic

    Wellington, FL - In his signature style of bringing young horses along and moving them up when the time is right, Endel Ots rode 5-year-old Agastrophos II to a high score win in 1st Level, Test 3 during the 2018 Wellington Classic Dressage Autumn Challenge. Riding on both days of the show, which was held on Oct 20-21st, the pair scored a 71.912 on each ride, which was enough to clinch the high score ribbon on Saturday.

  • Custom Saddlery Continues to Support Dressage 4 Kids: Atlanta Youth Festival

    Custom Saddlery is pleased to continue to support Lendon Gray’s Youth Dressage Festival and 6th Annual Dressage 4 Kids: Atlanta Youth Festival at the Georgia International Horse Park. This event is being held October 26th-28th, 2018. At this event, Custom Saddlery is contributing Saddle Pads for the Division Winners.

  • Melyni Worth was awarded the Most Valuable Rider Award at GAIG/USDF Region 1 Champions and The Virginia Dressage Association Fall Competition.

    The GAIGs Show Committee selected Melyni Worth for being the Most Valuable Rider at the show as she was not only riding in the show but also volunteering. The rain and cold caused many volunteer “no shows” but Melyni stepped up and helped in any way needed to make sure the show ran seamlessly throughout the entire four days. Her tireless efforts were invaluable to keeping the show going and were very much appreciated by all those attending and working at the event.   

    Melyni Worth attended the show with her horse Sugar, who she bred and trained.  Melyni is shown with Josh Shoemaker, a Custom Saddlery Representative. Custom Representatives also in attendance were Caitlyn Fiolka and Charlene Blundell.

  •  Endel Ots and Lucky Strike Bring Home The Win In The US Markel/USEF Developing Horse Prix St. George

    Wellington, FL (August 31, 2018) – Endel Ots and Lucky Strike have earned many congratulations over the weekend after winning the Markel/USEF Developing Horse Prix St. Georges Dressage National Championship with a score of 72.794%, which was held at the Lamplight Equestrian Center. While this is not Ots’ first victory at the US National Championships, this one had something special about it for Ots and his family.
