Aiken, SC (May 19, 2017) — For horse lovers, nothing beats a typical day at the barn. That is, until you add in a U.S. Olympic Dressage Team Bronze Medalist ready to give a free (yes, free) clinic, and nine of your favorite equestrian friends to enjoy the experience with. Oh, and a brand new Custom Saddlery saddle.
This not-so-typical day could be yours – just enter Dressage Today magazine’s Win-A-Day contest for a chance to win this fantastic prize. Custom Saddlery, the company known for crafting perfectly fitting and beautiful dressage saddles for over two decades, is sponsoring the contest to give the winner the opportunity to learn from his or her choice of three members of the 2016 U.S. Olympic Bronze Medalist Team: Steffen Peters, Allison Brock, or Kasey Perry-Glass.
All riders need to do to enter is describe in 250 words why they deserve to win the clinic. Go to dressagetoday.com/page/winaday to fill out the form. The contest is open through May 31, 2017, so there is less than two weeks left to enter.
Custom Saddlery is especially proud to offer the chance for a clinic with the most seasoned competitor of the three, Custom Saddlery MVR (Most Valuable Rider) Steffen Peters. Peters has been a part of five U.S. Olympic teams, and is a three-time U.S. Equestrian Federation Horseman of the Year. He claimed a team Bronze medal in the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia, as well as at the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He won the FEI World Cup Dressage Finals in 2009 and earned two individual Bronze medals at the World Equestrian Games in Lexington, Kentucky, in 2010. Peters went on to win team and individual Gold at both the 2011 and 2015 Pan American Games. For well over a decade, Peters has done it all in a Custom Saddlery saddle.
“Custom saddles are simply the best saddles on the market,” explains Peters from his headquarters near San Diego, California. Throughout his dressage career, he and Custom Saddlery have also worked together to develop the Steffen Peter’s signature saddle series, which includes the Steffen’s Advantage, Steffen’s Advantage Buffalo, Steffen’s Advantage Monoflap, and the Wolfgang Solo. Custom Saddlery will be adding to the Win-A-Day contest prize by offering the winner his or her own Steffen’s Advantage saddle.
Custom Saddlery, based in Aiken, South Carolina, is excited to give another rider the opportunity to learn from legends like Steffen Peters. The company makes the saddles used by Steffen Peters as well as Swedish Olympian Patrik Kittel and other top international riders including Juan Matute Guimon and Heather Blitz.
