V is for Valuable: Vernon Named Custom Saddlery’s Most Valuable Rider at Adequan Global Dressage Festival Week III
Wellington, FL (February 2, 2018) —Tyra Vernon of BREC Dressage of Ocala and her new Brazilian import, Hadrian Interagro, saddled up for success week three of the 2018 Adequan Global Dressage Festival. Vernon was honored with Custom Saddlery’s Most Valuable Rider Award for her excellent performance and winning test score of 65.256%.
“It’s always been my favorite saddle,” said Vernon, who rides in a CS Wolfgang Solo fitted by Custom Saddle Fitter Sharon Cooper from New Smyrna Beach. Vernon has relied on Custom Saddlery to meet the needs of her busy training and instruction facility for the past three years. “Custom Saddles always fit me really well and fit my horses.”
Hadrian Interagro (Baldor Interagro x Latina) is a 16-hand, seven year-old grey gelding the FEI-level trainer and competitor imported in October from Interagro Lusitanos of Brazil. “He’s an amazing horse. We’re taking our time getting to know each other and I’m looking forward to a cool FEI horse soon!”
Vernon relies on Custom Saddles to encourage balance and correctness in her students as well as her horses, including BREC Dressage student, Kerry Ann Schade, who earned her USDF Gold Medal at the Adequan Global Dressage Festival, finishing reserve in her second Grand Prix performance!
“Kerry getting her Gold is so exciting! Having a quality saddle that’s already balanced makes a huge difference in teaching,” Vernon said, “because if students can’t sit balanced, they can’t really learn. That’s one of the highlights of Custom Saddles that I especially enjoy.”
Custom Saddlery is proud to salute dressage riders like Tyra Vernon, who counts on her saddles to deliver comfort and balance when she needs it most in the competitive arena, as well as back home when she wants to set a winning example for up-and-coming riders and horses, too.
