Bio

A lifelong resident of Cincinnati, Brittany grew up watching her mother, Barbara McCarthy, teach lessons and was able to ride a variety of horses.  She participated in the Miami Valley Pony Club with her pony, Freckles, but soon grew to love Dressage. Her passion grew when Gabelle was born, and she began the process of starting a young horse when she was only 13 years old. Brittany received her USDF Bronze medal at age 14, USDF Silver at 18, and USDF Gold medal at 26, all on horses she trained.

While her mother has had quite an influence on her training, throughout her career Brittany has had the pleasure of learning from some of the best in the business.  David Blake, Linda Zang, Oded Shimoni, Lars Petersen, Michelle Gibson,  George Williams, William Solyntjes,  and Conrad Schumacher, to name a few.  Brittany continues to invest in her own Dressage education, always seeking more education and mentorship, so she can offer more to her clients.
Brittany currently resides near Oakley, with her high school sweetheart turned husband, Zach, and their dog Piper.
