American-born Justin Hardin grew up in Canada and sat on his first horse, in a Western saddle, when he was nine years old. He didn't get back into the saddle again until he was 13. Originally passionate about jumping and eventing, Justin's focus turned to dressage and he made the move to the USA to work with top professionals and experience the elite level of the sport. In 2002 he started working at Barisone Dressage.
Justin has developed a very good reputation working with young horses and bringing them along and with much experience has become a serious FEI competitor. He has had many top placings at recognized dressage shows, including a win at CDI Saugerties (NY) and many top placings at several international competitions. The 2013 CDIO Wellington Nations Cup was his first team competition, he repeated this team competition again in 2014. He is a Bronze, Silver, and Gold medalist. A very ambitious competitor, Justin has goals to represent his country in international competition.
Justin also rides in an Icon Star and Icon Coda.
